Favorite movies	THE movie: 2001, other space movies: 5th Element, Star Trek, etc. Movies with interesting themes: Wim Wenders: Wings of Desire, or movies that are beautiful: Dr. Zhivago, Far from the Madding Crowd (Julie Christie version.) Movies that say something.
Favorite music	Artists who say something: Talking Heads, David Bowie, Dead Can Dance, Yes. Also music with incredible vocals that make me shiver: Odetta, Lisa Girard, Moire Brennan.
Favorite books	LOTR, Antonie St. Exupery, A.S. Byatt, Jane Austen, Isak Dinesen, George MacDonald, Heinlein, good writing, good stories.
