| Introduction | I am in my mid-thirties and my life is in progress. In 2010, I was diagnosed with a dilated cardiomyopathy. Before the diagnosis I was a college English and writing professor; now, I am officially living with heart failure. I have returned to school to persue a career as a Certified Dental Assistant. I spend my free time with my amazing boyfriend, watching Netflix, as the volunteer copy editor for Anime Boston, going to college hockey games, and spending quality time with my two young nephews. Oh, I also have hobbies including: reading, writing, knitting, and crocheting. |
