Introduction I love taking photos and prefer to take a documentary approach to my photography to tell the story. All of the photos on this blog are from 2011 and onwards when I started my journey to improve my photography. I shoot with a Canon camera, and mostly a Canon 50mm f1.4 lens (best lens ever!), Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 and a Canon 70-200mm f2.8 lens. I use Adobe Lightroom and Adobe CS6 for my post processing.
Interests My interest in photography began in 2003 when I was living in Wellington, NZ and discovered scrapbooking. Since then I have gone from an Olympus 2MP camera (hey, those photos look fine in a photobook!) to a Canon Powershot A80 4Mp camera. My first SLR camera was the Canon 350D (my 40th birthday present, say no more!), then the Canon 60D and in July I got my new Canon 5D! I still scrapbook occassionally though I must admit it is mostly digital. To get started with digital scrapbooking I really recommend http://www.jessicasprague.com/ - Jessica makes it so easy! Karen Russell holds the best online photography workshop ever - http://www.snapshotsofagoodlife.com/index.cgi?p=schedules and Clickinmoms feeds my addiction to online workshops! http://www.clickinmoms.com/blog/
