| Introduction | Hello! Thank you for stopping by the Daniel Smith Artists' Materials Blog! A little "about me".... I studied Art (BA) Painting (MA) and Lithography at San Diego State University . To earn my living, I became a Retail Store Manager and was one for 18 years until 2004, when I became a Seattle / Bellevue Area Real Estate Agent with BRIO Realty. In 1999/2000 I was the Store Manager at the Seattle Daniel Smith Store . Later I became good friends with John Cogley, the Owner of Daniel Smith Artists' Materials, and late last year I offered to set up and write a blog for Daniel Smith. The great thing about doing this, is that it's getting my focus back to Art and Painting! While I still have not had time to do anything (yet!) because I am a full time Seattle Real Estate Agent with my Real Estate Blog ( SeattlesUrbanVillages.com ) to write for as well as the Daniel Smith Blog, I am planning to start up later in the year.
