| Introduction | There are two people I envy - Larry from Razor's Edge and Billy Biswas from The Strange Case of Billy Biswas. Larry because his was the ideal situation where he had no obligations and a stipend that allowed him to travel, learn languages, experience cultures as and when he fancied. Billy because he was more real and he had to muster the courage to let go of the known and step into what has been egging him all along. I want a piece of both. And that's why anthropology drew me as not just a means of traveling and exploring cultures but to be able to let go of the regular and peer into what's more. This blog here is to help trace patterns that come across, with words. It's about what's evident and not so much about numbers. |
