Introduction	My name is Lynn Yellen. I am a New York City public school teacher and a metrosharer. I started swiping people in when I saw them struggling with cranky turnstiles and "insufficient fare" read-outs. Occasionally, at my home station (Hoyt-Schermerhorn), someone asks for a swipe. Whenever I metroshare, it improves my day. I have devoted my professional life to helping young people make sense of their lives and find satisfaction in whatever paths they choose. Recently, it occurred to me that we could all get a little more satisfaction on the journey if we shared more often.
