Introduction	The demise of the Catholic school system saddens me greatly. For the last 21 years my husband and I have had our 8 children in the Catholic School system. We chose this route because we wanted our children in an atmosphere conducive to our religious beliefs. Over the years we have seen many changes in our particular school and in the Catholic schools in general. We have weathered 2 different schools both connected to a parish. 1 pastor and 2 principals at the first school we chose. 3 pastors and 6 principals at our present school and parish. These are my opinions and observations. I do believe the system can be saved. Obviously it is going to require work and commitment on the church's part and the faithful.
