Austin was the World Headquarters of the Armadillo - some folks think it is still in Austin, when you tear down a building, it's gone! Sandy's Ice Cream is still here... Deep Eddy swimming pool is unique, Stacy Pool is a natural hot springs, Barton Springs is colder than the ice cream at Sandy's. Writers live in these here hills, some hermits, others recluse, yippies, hippies, guppies, preppies... Weird ATX has 'em all. |
