| Introduction | Hey there! My name is Lisa Michelle, I’m originally from Austin, Texas, now currently residing in Houston. I’m a proud alumna of Prairie View A&M University, where I received both my undergraduate and Master degrees. I've been natural since July 2011 and I love my big beautiful hair! I am a certified product junkie so I’m always willing trying new products and ingredients. I’ve learned that you can’t always do the same thing or use the same products as when relaxed. Now I enjoy pampering my hair more than ever, relying mostly on natural handmade products. Oh, and I’m also a YouTube/blog junkie…I look to a lot of those ladies for daily inspiration and ideas (like starting my own blog!) For me, being natural is about discovering (and embracing) your own personal freedom and I can fully appreciate the versatility of my natural curls. |
