| Introduction | I am professor of Business Informatics at the Ferdinand Porsche Distance Learning University of Applied Sciences, Vienna, Austria. I have devoted most of my professional career to teaching and research in statistics, data quality and uncertainty of data, quantitative methods, spatial reference systems and methods, as well as management aspects of information systems. I hold a Ph.D. from the Vienna University of Technology (1999, Profs. Andrew Frank and Adolf Stepan) and earned a master's degree in surveying and geomatics from the same university in 1995. |
