Introduction	I'm a first-generation Persian-American lady born in 1979 in the U.S. (Seattle, WA to be exact!) the same day the Iranian Revolution became official. I've never felt fully Persian or American (i.e. the "perversion," which can mean "a deviance from the norm"). Now I live in New York City's East Village, work in a cubicle, and wear impractical shoes.
