| Introduction | I am Iranian Senior Fighter and Transport Pilot; born in Tehran, joined to Air Force & commenced flying with Cessna 172, T-6G, T-37, T-33, and F-86. I was flying F-86 at Vahdati Air Force Base in south of Iran. Then at 42 Sq I flew F-5, soon Colonel Sabahat selected me to fly F-4E; so I return to my hometown in Tehran. And then I flew F-4D at Shiraz AFB. I was Flight and Ground Safety Officer, Systematic Inspector, and Standardization Officer. In 1977 I complained directly to Shah against the corruption of commanders in the Air Force. In 1978, Shah granted my request to leave IIAF, and I joined with Iranian Army Flying Wing that he flew with Turbo-Commander. From September 1978 to March 1979, in worst possible condition, that the majority of the Iranian Pilots have left Iran or thier duties; I flew over 500 hours between provinces who were facing with anarchy and chaos. I never left my duty and I defended the Army Base in front of thefts and sabotages until last days of Shah Regime; however in 1979 I return to Air Force. I love my job, and I think it is the best job in the World! |
