| Introduction | I am a middle aged mom trying to keep up with my growing and VERY active family. Some days I am not sure about the path I chose (I sometimes think the spinster life looks pretty appealing) but oh, how boring life would be. There isn't a day that goes by- even the worst of days- when someone or something makes me laugh and after all laughter is the best medicine. I am certainly not the best mom out there (I think Michelle Duggar gets that award- my goodness I don't think that woman has ever raised her voice at her brood) but I have been doing this mother gig for 17+ years and all of my kids are still here. Of course, I am sure they will ALL need serious therapy after they leave home but that is on their dime! I am just hoping they become productive enough to leave (I have a few that claim they are staying here forever) boy are they in for a rude awakening. All joking aside, I do love being a mom and it is pretty much the only thing I am qualified to do so I try my best to do a good job so that one day one of my offspring will love me enough to change my diapers! |
