Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
Since the fork is not a variation of the spoon but rather a separate species unto itself, the only method of evolution applicable would be macro, which I believe to be a lie. Therefor it follows that the fork is no relation to the spoon, but actually a separate creation of individual merit.
