| Introduction | I was born in Famagusta in 1967. I am Turkish Cypriot living and working here in North Cyprus. I've been teaching English as a foreign language since 1989. When I graduated from the university, I worked for government schools for three years but then decided to work at the English Preparatory School of Eastern Mediterranean Univeristy. Apart from teaching, I am interested in learner autonomy, integrating technology into learning English and Web 2.00 tools. I completed my Master's degree in Educational Technology and TESOL at the University of Manchester in 2001.Recently, I have completed an online course Cert ICT- Certificate in Teaching languages with technology, (The Consultants-E).
