| Introduction | Just turned 60, retired this year and I am happily exploring all things I haven't had time to pursue in the past. I grew up in Ashland, Oregon, graduated from college and moved to Alaska in the early 70's. Had my two daughters while living in Fairbanks, but soon moved to Eagle River, AK. I stayed home and raised the girls until they started school when I started guiding fishermen on the Kenai River. I met and married my true love on the Kenai River, another river guide and he carried me off to the State of Washington for 18 years. We now live in Tucson, Az for nearly five years and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! Goodbye rain, rain, rain and gloom, gloom, gloom. Arizona continually amazes me, there is so much to do and see. My passion is sewing, specifically quilting, for which I am creating this blog to express my feelings and create an outlet for my art. |
