| Introduction | Before/during/after college, marriage, and birthing 2 children, I worked in a bank in PA for 16 yrs. I loved that job. I 'grew up' there in many many ways. After lots of tears and sleepless nights, I surprised everyone, including myself, when I obeyed that still small voice, and quit. God knew best, and I finally obeyed. I then worked for our school district as a Title 1 Tutor - I loved that job as well. I enjoyed helping students who struggled with basic skills most of us take for granted. After we moved to NC 6 yrs ago, I decided to stay at home and enjoy our new life and support our kids during this transition. It was a wonderful time of connecting with God. I learned to love Him on a whole new level, and started to really understand His love for me. About 4 yrs ago, I began to run each morning with my neighbor and carpool friend Lysa TerKeurst. We became fast close friends, and eventually she asked me to work for her. As I look back on my journey, I can see how God has clearly prepared me for this position as her assistant. I'm overwhelmingly humbled and honored to have the opportunity to serve Him in this incredible way. To God be all the glory! |
