| Introduction | I am a 31 year old woman living in BC, Canada. I live the roles of Christian, wife, step-mom, daughter, sister, auntie, friend, and soon to be 'mommy'. I was diagniosed with depression and anxiety in 2002, but had dealt with the symptoms since I was 14. Even though I was on meds and they seemed to help a bit, I still suffered. In the summer of 2006 I was finally properly diagnosed with BP type II. Two years later, I am still reeling from the news...it's a fight for acceptance every day. |
