| Introduction | I am a small batch potter, momma and wifey. Inspiration for my work comes from patterns of tribal forms, geometric and linear designs. I work with a stoneware clay body on both the pottery wheel and with hand building. My work is created from a stoneware clay body, and the surfaces are altered with botanical-themed carvings,, geometric cut outs, abstract glaze designs or stenciled designs. The work is mid-fired to cone 6 in my electric kiln and finished with earth-toned glazes. I find "zen" in the process of working on the wheel and I love to create my wares knowing that they will find a spot of love in their new homes. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics and have been working with clay and throwing on the wheel for the past 17 years. I continue to nurture my love, knowledge and skills with clay as I pour my energy into each piece I create.
