Introduction	I have been teaching for 19 years in Oklahoma, Nevada, and Texas. I have taught sixth, seventh, and eighth grade math; K-8 music; and 2nd and 3rd grade. I love to use animals in my classroom as they bring down a lot of barriers. You will notice giraffes everywhere in my class, so no need to tell you my favorite animal! My family took an Alaskan cruise last summer, I would go every summer if possible. My husband, John, and I have 2 children Josh (22 and working in Denver) and Carrie (a sophomore at Texas Tech). Children's books and The Shack are my favorite books
