| Introduction | On May 30, 2009 my life was extended thanks to the couragous decision of a brave family who donated their loved one's Lungs AND Liver to save my life from CF. They turned their grief into the works of a miracle and for that I am forever grateful! I'm 29 living in CT (originally for Long Island, NY). I'm a cystic fibrosis survivor as I received a life saving Double Lung and Liver transplant on May 30th 2009. I am surrounded by the most caring and dedicated friends who we are so grateful for. I have the strongest Mother in the world who has amazing strength and patience. I have a great job as an elementary school teacher with a great group of supportive colleagues.All in all, I have a great life. |
