| Introduction | My name is Anna Edelen and I am 20 years old. I was born in Kaluga, Russia and adopted when I was 20 months old. I was born with FAE (Fetal Alcohol Effect) and Asperger’s Syndrome. I have always enjoyed art, and started painting and drawing when I was 11 years old and took many art classes throughout high school. After graduating high school in 2009 I started painting with my friend and art teacher, Paula Gauche. I work mostly with acrylic paints, and I love colors; contrasting colors, bright colors, and blending dark and light colors. I also like to use things that I love in my life in my paintings such as antlers. I hope you love the colors of my paintings; how it sticks out with dark-light contrasting colors. I love the style of my paintings and how peaceful and calm they are. I hope you enjoy them too. |
