Introduction | Hi and Welcome!!! I'm Sheila and an avid Crafter and Sewista. I love to sew more than craft, but can be found dabbling in my other loves of crocheting, knitting, jewelry making, greeting cards, creating lush soap bars, body butter & oils and home decor. My sewing journey was borne from spending over 30 years of refashioning my existing garments. I decided 10 years ago that I wanted to do more than refashion garments and sewed my first skirt from a commercial pattern. Yes... I was hooked. My Style Sense for as long has I've worked in corporate america has been professional wear. I love to wear suits, but with the changes from business attire to business casual and more often casual attire, I decided to focus on garments that provided versatility. The years of sewing, has opened up a new life in my wardrobe exploding with colors and prints. I haven't given up on my suits, they're worn once or twice a week now instead of daily. Sewing has giving me free range to step outside the box, and create a collection that I like to call comfortably corporate one stitch at a time. |
