| Introduction | A daughter of the Middle West, I grew up on my parents farm on the Minnesota-Iowa stateline with my five brothers. I always had a strong interest in both books and art. At the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse I graduated with a B.S. in Art Education and never taught. Instead, I held a variety of low paying jobs, went to technical school for a printing diploma and worked in the printing industry for several years. Now I am able to spend more time on my drawings and books. |
