About me

Introduction	Dr. Carmichael is a licensed chiropractic physician practicing in Tennessee. He graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic with a Doctorate of Chiropractic, as well as a Master's in Sports Science and Rehabilitation. His experience includes working with several university athletic teams, including Missouri Baptist, Mississippi Valley State Univ., Jefferson College, Lindenwood Univ., and the NAIA National Track Championships. During an internship with a hospital orthopedic clinic, Dr. Carmichael realized that many orthopedic injuries that could benefit from chiropractic care were either being left to "heal on its own" or sent to surgery. It was during this internship that Dr. Carmichael decided to use his experience and knowledge to share the expanded benefits of chiropractic. This blog serves as a compiled database of information on specific orthopedic injuries; what they are, how they occur, and how chiropractic may help.
