Introduction	I firmly believe that one of the most influential ways to make a difference in this world is education. Helping students of all backgrounds access the opportunities available to them is really the best way to address issues of poverty and ignorance. My teaching philosophy is simple: all can learn. Some may take longer than others, but with systematic, explicit instruction and sustained practice thinking and writing are open to everyone.
