| Introduction | I'm a 40 year old Momma "Warrior". I have two children; a daughter -19 in college and a son - 8 in the second grade. My son was diagnosed at 6 with a mild Autistic Spectrum Disorder known as Asperger's Syndrome. AS is a neurological disorder that hinders a child's ability to function socially either by verbal impairment or by their inability to interpret social situations as a typical child would. Many kids with Autism Spectrum Disorders are terribly misunderstood because they often appear normal and have average to above average IQ but are often delayed by several years across many other areas of development. |
| Interests | I like to go out dancing, read ,bowl on occasion though i'm not very good at it especially after the alcohol kicks in, surf the internet, feed my facebook addiction, create cards for www.operationwritehome.com, and send care packages to my adopted deployed soldiers. |
| Favorite movies | Anything at all thats funny anytime or a chick flick for when I need some cinematherapy!! |
| Favorite music | Country, Classic Rock, Eighties power ballads, Hip Hop dance, Alternative, Metal, Mainstream - I like some of it ALL!!! |
| Favorite books | True crime, non-fiction mainly, but a good love story never hurts!! |
