| Introduction | I WANDERED until I fully appreciated HOME, but then it took years to return. I am now at my "forever home", returning back to the house and property of my parents, which I inherited. I helped design, clear and plant when I was 17--OK, 1977. After marrying my husband in 1979 (now of 37 years), we lived a few miles away and helped plant my parents' Christmas tree farm (Hilton's) and improve the land. We wish my folk's were still here, but we will continue to improve and harvest from the land, and protect it for OUR children, as they did for us. We appreciate finally being at our "forever home" after searching for it elsewhere, and enjoy every moment of every day. Mom and Dad knew it would be our permanent home like it was for them, and it is. There is no price tag, a "forever home" is worth far more. Unfortunately, I also inherited PD but I will battle on as my Dad did. |
