Introduction	I have worked as a reporter/editor, artists' model, public speaker, radio personality, goatherder, retreat leader, casting agent, actress, dramaturge, mother, theater intern, and general dogs body. I was brought up in a privileged Hollywood/New York show business family. I've danced with Michael Jackson and Gene Kelly, been formally presented to the Queen of England, and attended the Academy Awards the night my grandfather, Mervyn LeRoy, received the Irving Thalberg trophy for his films like "The Wizard of Oz." However, in 2009, I was forced to declare complete bankruptcy in the wake of a family business shutting its doors, and confronted a harsh reality overnight; no money and nowhere to live. Our family returned to life in the Hamptons -- not as the trendsetters we once were, but as workers among workers. It took a few years and a lot of generous souls, but now the family has bought a house "on the cheap," with plans to do the renovations, gardening, poultry-raising, and more, by themselves. And I have no idea how to do this. Watch me learn, and grow, and fail, and win, and hopefully laugh with me too.
