| Introduction | Abhangs are a continuous spring of ‘Bhaavaas’ emerging from hearts of the saints of Maharashtra. These sweet, simple expressions appeal both to commoners and scholars. They unravel a new dimension everty time! These reservoirs of profound vedantic knowledge are set on the foundation of Bhakti. Among the various saints, the stature of Sant TUKARAM MAHARAJ towers high and is hence revered as ‘Jagadguru’. Here, we wish to keep sharing with you the Bhaavaarthas of selected lines from his Abhangs. These inspirational gems are very carefully picked and shared with us by Sri PUNDALIK MAHARAJ DEHUKAR (a descendant of Sant Tukaram Maharaj himself). The bhaavaarthas to these gems are a humble attempt by Mumbai Sri SRINIVASA BHAGAVATHAR. A constant and steady flow of exchanges of these lines and bhaavaarthas over time has lead to the forming of an unenviable collection, now presented here. These bhaavaarthas are sure to open windows of elevating experiences in your own minds as you read them.
