Introduction	I am currently a Subject Reference Librarian at the University of Cape Town, with subject responsibility for Librarianship, Film & Media Studies, History and Education (which includes Higher Education). I previously held the brief of convening the libraries' marketing team. Within LIASA (Library and Information Association of South Africa), I chair the Western Cape Branch and serve as the PRO on the National Higher Education Libraries Interest Groups.
