| Introduction | I am 27 years old and I am studying towards the Diploma in Information Technology and BSc Hons in Information Technology and Computing afterwhich I am hoping to do a Masters Degree. I have been studying with the OU on and off since 2003 but now have the opportunity to get my head down to complete my studies. My aim is to become a college tutor and have have been undertaking courses at a local college who have kindly given me the opportunity to try out teaching theories under supervision. I have never been out of education and think I would be very lost if I ever left! I currently work in Ludlow, Shropshire, for a company called Premier Medical Group and have been with them for 7 1/2 years. I work as Systems Support and spend most of my time working on the internal development of our bespoke database system. Another part of my job is to provide training of the database to new employees as well as Microsoft Office training if required. I also have privately paid work as a Web Developer and enjoy this aspect intensely as I love being creative. |
