Introduction	Welcome to my blog that represents so much knowledge that has been shared with me over 30 years of researching my ancestors! I have researched my roots extensively, but I am not a professional genealogist. It is simply a passion of mine, and I love helping others fulfill their passion for it also! My Father recently crossed over into those great chapters of our family history, and so I decided to create this blog in his memory. He was well known as a local historian of sorts, and so I hope to carry on his love for sharing history by helping other people to find and pursue their own roots. I am not a professional genealogist, but I have learned a lot from so many years of research. I simply want to share what I've learned and let this venue take that knowledge where it helps others the most. My Father's family roots begin in Austria, England, Holland and the new world...the beginning of the United States of America. My immediate family still resides in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, where I've done the bulk of my research. But it doesn't matter where your research takes you, the fundamentals apply the same. I hope in some small way I help you realize your own legacy!
