| Introduction | Some people like to take care of stray animals. I like to take care of stray people. It's brought me an interesting life, and while I can't claim (yet?) to be an expert on human behavior, I like to hope I've learned, am currently learning, and can share some helpful things along the way. As a bio/foster/adoptive parent and as an alternative education science teacher, I get called "Mom" a LOT. My profile name is a nod to the nickname of my favorite science teacher when I was in high school, as well as an accurate reflection of my role plus my last initial. It's pretty awesome to be able to legitimately be a nickname "junior"! |
