Introduction	I am a cuddly barracuda. In the 20 years of this little blog’s existence, I've had many life changing experiences: I found my career calling; became a Puppy Mama (2x + a COVID rescue); married The Man and had a beautiful tropical wedding; bought my first home (then repeated 2x to get to our forever home b/c, well, Bay Area); became a Mama which was THE biggest life change. And then I gave birth again to my second and last baby in July 2014. Started doubting my career calling, lost my Dad, continued working while earning a doctorate, lost my Sister & best friend in less than 2 months of graduating & it forever changed me. As I get older, I love and appreciate life more and more. It also gets a lot more complicated and sad. It's impossible to balance it all well & be good at all things. But I AM doing my best. I want to be a spectacular wife, mama, daughter, sister, friend, professional, and yes, just all around good person. It’s a tall (unrealistic) order and I often fall short but I have also figured out it’s more about the journey than crossing the finish line.
Interests	Lounging on the beach, sleep, yoga, homebody, dreamer of vacations & tropical locations, fine & hole-in-the-wall dining, financier & professional chauffeur to two children who look like The Man and me.
Favorite movies	Stranger than Fiction, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, The Proposal, 10 Things I Hate About You, While You Were Sleeping. I <3 romantic comedies
Favorite music	Natalie Cole, Stevie Wonder, Norah Jones, Bob Marley, Green Day, No Doubt, Etta James, Israel Kamakawiwoʻole, Nirvana, Sound Garden, Jack Johnson and whoever else is playing on my Pandora stations.
Favorite books	The Time Traveler's Wife, The Joy Luck Club, Angels & Demons, Stitch 'n Bitch
