| Introduction | I am employed by Paxton Media Group, but any opinions expressed here are my own. I've been writing about sports, and other topics, for daily newspapers since the late 1980s. (Yes, even before the Internet) I currently write for the Durham (NC) Herald-Sun, mainly covering Duke University athletics but also other ACC stories as well as the Durham Bulls. (Insert your own Crash Davis joke here). My beats have ranged from the NFL (Panthers, Saints), college sports (South Carolina, Winthrop), and high school athletics to state government (S.C. General Assembly). So, you ask, which is more corrupt, SEC athletics or state government? Let's just say both require a long, hot shower. |
