Introduction	I first heard of butoh in January of 2010, after becoming Facebook friends with Momo. At first I did not know what to make of it. But it was intriguing to me, in its contrasts and in its freedom of expression. After a couple of months I decided to try a session with Momo and things have been changing for me ever since. I have always suffered stage fright and nervousness with public speaking and such. I saw in butoh an opportunity to challenge that. It has done wonders for me, both from gaining concentration that excludes distraction, and from helping me learn not to care so much what others think. To let the sacred fool within share his gifts. And now I feel like the ostrich who has taken his head out of the sand only to discover that not only are things not so scary, but actually quite good. I still have some residual stage fright, but now I have much better tools to deal with it. And there are more things to explore...I want to see where else this journey shall lead...
