Introduction	I am a fourth generation Texan now living in Atlanta. College? The University of Texas in Austin (class of 1980). I've been a working photographer since 1984 and since 2003 I've been writing for various photography magazines. This has led to being a technology editor at Professional Photographer where I review cameras, printers, scanners , etc., and sometimes get to interview and profile photographers whose work I like.

Favorite movies	Stanley Kubrick, David Lean, the Marx Brothers, Martin Scorsese, the Coen Brothers, and Charlie Chaplin. Also Citizen Kane, Touch of Evil, Raging Bull, There Will be Blood, Days of Heaven, John Ford, Monty Python.
Favorite music	Beethoven, Richard Thompson, Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis, mid 1950s Sinatra, Lucinda Williams, Gillian Welch, late 60's Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Sex Pistols, The Clash, X, Paul Simon, Gnarls Barkley, OutKast, Morning Becomes Eclectic on KCRW.
