Introduction	Mary L. Westcott began writing poetry 18 years ago, and has been published in more than 40 literary journals. She holds a doctorate in social psychology from the University of Maryland, and is finishing up an MA in Writing at Johns Hopkins. She hopes to pursue teaching after one of her many retirements.
