| Introduction | Beverly Voigt is a winner of the Friends of Acadia Poetry Prize (judged by Wesley McNair) and a Pushcart Prize nominee. Her latest book, "Song of the Overcast," is forthcoming from Finishing Line Press in February 2022. (Advance sales begin October 18, 2021.) Her first chapbook, "Woman of Salt," was published by Seven Kitchens Press as part of its 2018 Summer Kitchen series. Her poems have appeared in journals such as "Crab Creek Review" and "Sonora Review." Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she currently lives in the South Bay area of Los Angeles and works as an editor and layout specialist.
