| Introduction | The Mess is an open arts studio that provides opportunities to create art and relationships. At the heart of The Mess are people who are struggling with issues of brokenness and poverty. We welcome anyone with an interest in art, or looking for community, to come, connect and create. The Mess is a supportive community of differing socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, physical/artistic abilities and gender. Our studio embraces all ages and believes that to be truly healthy community we must be diverse. The Mess walks along side people in our local community offering hope and empowering healthy life choices. We have been operating in Kingston, Ontario since November 2009.
