Introduction	I am an instructor in an OTA program in NC. I have been an OT for close to 20 years now (OMG, that makes feel old!!!) My background has been primarily in post acute rehabilitation for individual's with TBI. I have also had my own company contracting out with home health and hospital settings. I currently work part time in an acute care hospital and have been teaching in the community college setting for the past 3 years. I love OT and love turning students on to OT. I have had fabulous mentors and credit my instructors for setting a firm foundation in OT. Thank you Cathy Nielson, Eve Taylor and OT fieldwork supervisors Lydan Powloski, Laura Fuller and Kathy Jones. And finally, my first job with Carol Marcus who showed me how to creatively think outside the box working with OT clients. I hope that I can instill the pride, the creativity, the enthusiasm and OT principles as well as you have for me.
Interests	Quilting, mosaics, beaded jewelry, bamboo art
