Introduction	My mom taught the basics of sewing, knitting and crochet when I was a little girl growing up in Germany, but I was mediocre at best. I excelled at scarves and other square/rectangle shaped things. Unfortunately there is not a huge market for blah potholders. I first saw amigurumi online and thought it looked like something I could do. I taught myself by watching youtube videos and experimenting with different patterns until I got the hang of it. I started making amigurumi monsters in October 2009 after discovering cute amis weren't my thing. -RAWR

Favorite movies	Rushmore, The Goonies, Hands on a Hardbody, Dead Alive, The Great Muppet Caper, and many more that I can't think of right now.
