Introduction My name is Dakotah, and I am a confessional member of the Lutheran Church; Missouri Synod. I was raised Lutheran, and I was involved in the Baptist church throughout high school before returning to the LCMS upon entering college. In July of 2014, I married my beloved husband, Andrew, a Lutheran schoolteacher in Wisconsin, and in May of 2015 we are expecting the birth of our beautiful daughter Abigail. I have studied at Concordia University, Ann Arbor, since the fall of 2011, and my degree and certification as a Family Life Educator are expected to be received in the spring of 2015. My skills in ministry lie primarily in administration, and the Families of Faith blog is intended for families and other family ministry workers or volunteers to find resources and events in order to better share the Gospel and promote a family-based Church. My future goals regarding ministry are to work in two areas: encouraging family ministry as an alternative to segregated or generational ministry; and to provide an active, Gospel-teaching environment for special needs students of all ability levels. I will follow God's calling in my life wherever I can best bring Him glory.
Interests Family ministry, special needs ministry, traveling, youth ministry, daycare work
