| Introduction | Welcome to my blog! My goal is to help my fellow moms out in the kitchen (along with dads and others who are interested). I am a classically trained chef, having received my degree from the French Culinary Institute (now the International Culinary Center). After graduating with honors, I went on to work for Bobby Flay, then Food Arts Magazine and then finished off my stint in New York at Wine Spectator. The birth of my first child brought me back to Virginia, which is where I went to college, and since then I have been teaching cooking lessons and taking care of my (now up to 3) children. I can't wait to share my cooking knowledge and my passion for healthier eating. Bon Appetit! |
