single mom, ditching debt
| Introduction | After graduating from post-secondary I set up my own photography business (which is doing well) but after years of education as a single mom and the ongoing photography business expenses, poor education with finance and overspending, I have had quite the debt. In June of 2008 I went to credit counseling where I was advised to claim bankrupt or my debt will just continue to grow. (UGH, terrible advice!) Seeing neither as an option I looked for advice on the internet, came across a debt blog, (thanks change!) and started my own. Now after years of debt blogging (this being the new blog) I have ditched over all of that debt! I am not a professional financial advisor. I only hope this blog will inspire others as I have been inspired to pay off my own debt. -- thanks for stopping by! |
