IntroductionHmm...There's a lot about me, but in summary I'd say that I'm basically just some gal who's searching for answers every day, holding her breath at times as she's learning about God's grace, and finding opportunities for being humbled a constant occurrence. I'm a recovering anorexic, trying to make peace with food and my body. This blog is my journey through food hell and into freedom through Christ.
InterestsReligion, reading, gardening, writing, art-sketching and painting, ancient history, traveling, I LOVE COFFEE, cooking and inventing new recipes, natural health, hanging out with my family, discussing the deeper things of life and the Gospel with good friends...
Favorite moviesAnything adapted from a Jane Austen book. Anything from M. Night Shyamalan. Star Trek, Star Wars, Comic Book Hero Movies, Harry Potter series, LOVED Fire Proof, Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea, Anything by Stephen Chow, The Batman Animated series...I think I watch too many movies...
Favorite musicI like ALL sorts of music from all sorts of genres. My favorite cd right now is Jars of Clay The Eleventh Hour.
Favorite booksChristy by Catherine Marshall, Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers, LOVE the Harry Potter series, anything by Tolkien or CS Lewis, The Circle Trilogy by Ted Dekker, This Present Darkness and Piercing the Darkness by Frank Peretti, Hinds Feet On High Places by Hannah Hurnard, and I've started Prozac Nation and rather enjoy the writing style of the author...I'm more of a novel fan than anything else, though I am finding Depression: a Stubborn Darkness by Ed Welch rather intriguing.
