Introduction	A classically trained fine art painter. A trained photographer and a master carpenter/cabinetmaker. In 1975, I earned a BFA in painting from the Kansas City Art Institute. from there, I went to New York City where I maintained a studio and studied in the museums until 1980. In 1980, I moved to California where I lived until coming to Columbia in 2003. From 1982 to 1985, I lived in Japan where I studied traditional Japanese painting. Here in Columbia, I have a studio where I work most days and I also have a business called Rosewood Restorations. I am a master carpenter/cabinetmaker and I repair and restore antiques, furniture and old houses. I also make furniture and do various carpentry and cabinet projects for my customers.
