Introduction A lifelong artist, I have been drawing and painting as long as I can remember. As a child, I would put my coloring book and crayons right under my bed so they would be there first thing upon awakening in the mornings. Originally from East Tennessee, my husband and I moved to Plano, Texas, about seven years ago. Recently we moved to the beautiful hills and mountains of East Tennessee. I'm back home! I have one daughter and one grandson. My husband, Clint, has two daughters and two grandsons. Some of my paintings are in the permanent collections of the Opryland Hotel, The University of Tennessee College of Law and the Dulin Gallery of Art, predecessor of The Knoxville Museum of Art. I have two online shops on etsy.com under the seller names of Cindy Ellison and The Absinthe Theater. Recently I have been busy drawing and painting. My etsy shop, Cindy Ellison, has more traditional art. Art of a "slightly darker shade of pale" are in my etsy shop called The Absinthe Theatre. The old Absinthe House in New Orleans has always captured my imagination. Clint and I have had some wonderful times in the French Quarter in New Orleans. ccynthiaa@aol.com
