Introduction About me: I love to rise before daylight, and start planning my day before my morning energy is interrupted by other people's voices. I love lots of sweet milky coffee, the internet, interior decorating, my pictures and my books...not necessarily in that order. I'm a semi-crunchy earth mother, leaning towards vegetarianism but not there yet, and I was into Attachment Parenting before it had a name. I'm an old hippie, although I didn't and don't get high. (Am I the only one?) I wear Birkenstock sandals all year round. My zodiac sign is Aquarius and I fit the profile. I'm the kind of person strangers spontaneously start telling their life story to. I'm frugal, and enjoy yard sales and bargains. I LOVE camping and Cape Cod. I learn something new everyday, and I love to share all I know, whether or not you want to hear it. I have many children, grandchildren, and even a few great-grandchildren...(How in the world did that happen?) I love them all, even though they don't all love each other all the time, or even me sometimes. And in the summer of 2007 I found my long-lost first love from 50 years ago, and we are together again, this time forever.
Interests Camping, driving, (but I'm not a good passenger), frugality, interior decorating, etc., etc., etc.
Favorite Movies The King and I, Miracle in the Rain, Shawshank Redemption, The Accused, Nell, anything where the good guy wins, even though my good guys may not always match your good guys.
Favorite Music Doowop, 50s and 60s, Old Honkey-Tonk Country, Rockabilly, Classic Soul and R+B, Blues, Smooth Jazz, a little from most styles. Eartha Kitt, Rhoda Scott, Al Jarreau, Phoebe Snow, Dinah Washington, George Benson, Janis Joplin, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, The Flamingos, The Del Vikings, Tavares, Patsy Cline, Hank Snow, Hank Williams, and many other various and diverse musicians. How can I pick just a few...?
